Glade of Lupines is for all the purple lovers out there like myself! Lupines are one of my favorite wildflowers to pop up during the California superblooms, they are so adorable and I love purple so much. They pop up along Folsom Lake and it’s just fields of purple above the waterline! This colorway is a tonal with lilac, lavender, and periwinkle blue topped with herb green and olive speckles that also have bits of gold, navy, and rust in them.

As with all hand dyed yarn, natural variation from skein to skein is considered normal. When making large items that require multiple skeins in the same colorway, alternating skeins is recommended for the most consistent results. A small amount of excess dye being released may occur during the first wash or two. When working with high contrast colors, using a splash of white vinegar in with the water used to soak the item can help prevent color bleeding.
